This would be a realy nice feature.
Both ways could actually be interesting:
PC-Audio to Steam Deck
- Musik-Playlist on PC and hearing on Speakers or bluetooth headset of Steam Deck)
and
Steam-Deck to PC
- Using the PC-Headset and hearing the Deck-Game sound over it.
I have wireless Headset which do not work over Bluetooth, so it is not enjoyable to use only
some bluethooth Heasets or to occupy my usb slot for the "Headset-Stick".
Further, I play some solo-games with my Steamdeck and i'm just in a Audiochat via Discord, when some of my friends come on, then i change to pc because we play Multiplayer-Games via PC.
It is anoying to use 2 output sources ( Headset and Steam Deck). And to check of the sound comes from discord.
I think that the quality of gaming/ Steam Deck expierence would be increased a lot with such an Audio-Stream.

Some people (like me) do not have native Bluetooth in their PC-setup, so i cannot
easily connect with my pc over bluetooth.
Also,I am not sure how Audio-quality is compared (streaming over wlan/lan vs. Bluetooth).
so this could be a bottle-neck with Bluetooth.
For Example my PC (with Discord) is in my Office, i play with Steam-Deck on the couch in another room.
If i connect over Bluetooth with my PC for Audio, the sound travels from my Steam-Deck to my PC to my Headset (non bluetooth headset). This could lead to an unpleasent delay while gaming.
Plus with some Bluetooth-Setups i have problems with the distance PC-Couche.
Steam has already implemented "Audio+Video" Streaming over client,
so this should in theory be a "relative" easy to implement feature.
(Streaming Audio over wlan to devices).
And if this is included in Steam it could be OS-independent.
Have you gotten this to work? It doesn't seem to see the steam deck for me.
Use the STEAM LINK software:

You can go into the settings after installing it and pairing your device and set it to only share the sound.
I have a dock with my steam deck and when i try to plug in my 3.5mm with the dock I get a lot of buzzing and no audio, without the dock it's totally mint. I can plug in the deck and have it on my second monitor and then turn Steam Link on and once it's running I can just hide the window or open up the show I want to watch over it.
