Selecting which 4 badges to display on profile?

I think being able to choose what 4 badges you have on your profile rather than them being displayed by crafted date would be a lot better. I have a lot of badges I'd rather display than my current ones but can't display them without a badge showcase and I'd rather them be displayed on the right side where the 4 badges are.

Yes, but since the badge system is not that fair (assuming you want more than 2/3 profile showcases) you will need to craft a lot of badges that are probably not your personal favorites, and doing so will make them stay in your profile until new ones are obtained, and chances are your favorite badges are the oldest ones, so this automatic recent profile badge showcase doesn't make much sense

I really liked your sugestion, I personally think a great way of changing this issue without harming the manual badge showcase purpose would be removing the "recent bagdes" and replacing with steam-user badges, for example the "game collector badge" and "years of service", do you think this could be a great alternative?

Valve isn't going to give you a free showcase to display the badges you want. The only likely option for those badges would be a way to hide them, so those people who don't want to see them can keep them from showing.

Anytime someone from Valve tells someone to suggest something here, it's usually so the community will tell them exactly why it won't ever happen. You aren't the first person that's come here with that story, and you won't be the last.

i like this idea alot

for me its no issue i still have 11k cards most are un crafted sets and they are not just some badges that make my profile bad most are super cool badges that i like but it would be great to choose them as well as steam now these days need developers to get reviews to add steam trading cards it wasn't easy what it was like years ago :D

Don't hold your breath. If they haven't done it yet they probably won't.

Although I am surprised that when they changed it so you could hide your profile badges they also didn't add the ability to hide the recent badges as well. It's a much more likely outcome for those that don't want their recent badges displayed on their profile. Especially since you can both expand your badge showcase and buy a 2nd one.

Today I got three game badges to hide the green gorilla, but on the far left of the badge he is brilliantly displayed.
By the way, the community leader badge is also displayed second and the order does not change.

The peaceful profile is invaded by the Green King and leader.
Is there any way to outsmart the Green King and the leader? These two Akuma are too strong.

Totally agree.
In addition, some badges remain displayed even though it have been replaced when it should be replaced by the most recent.
