Kids having no role in it meant they have no business with it, it was not meant for them period, no one has to cater to kids if they were not aim toward kids in the 1st place, if you make something aim towards kids, you wouldn't make it something that wasn't meant for kids... That shouldn't have to be explain really.
Video games are not for kids only if they were, why are you playing video games? Are you a child is what you're applying? Same with tv shows, movies, books, and more... Again shouldn't have to be explain really. If you sell content that not meant for kids to see, it is not meant for kids, meaning you're not obligated to cater to making it kid friendly because it was not meant for kids in the 1st place.
Also keep stuff away from where there a lot of kids, bud kids are going to see a lot of things when they're not being monitor when using the internet... Again, adult content is disable by default for view, so kids shouldn't see them really at all to begin with.... https://imgur.com/ZshOJxI
"would you assume selling gas tv ads is market to kids as well" Cmon we both know this is dumb, Are commercials for gas proven to cause mental growth deficiencies in children?
ALSO you know a 13 year old can easily check that off right?
"ALSO you know a 13 year old can easily check that off right?"
The same applied to anything that doesn't interest them, or doesn't apply to them, adult content is not aim towards kids, stop assuming adult content was aim to kids, you're thinking about kids wanting this, and this wasn't aim towards kids at all to begin with.
Not only that, but you're making claims with no backing to it at all where you get these numbers from, and I stop at this point as it's clear you choose to ignore what I said, and seem you're up in your own little world not understanding how real world works.
Who’s “They”?
Do you think these are being specifically catered for kids to buy/play, to condition them to accept this as part of a normal society?
And why no mention of parents having control over what their children have access to and blame them for letting them access adult content.
And now you go into who should be working or having a job?
You don’t have kids , do you? And have no real experience at all at raiding children, yet think you can preach to others on how they should be raised and how to control what they can access online and IRL.
"You pointed saying video games are for kids, which isn't simply true from your own quote."
Why do you need to nitpick my arguments? You know my argument is about there safety Iv'e said this multiple times it's never been about "games are only for kids"
Read what you link because you clearly didn't, yes you're ignoring what was said and strawmanning, that's all you had done. Not once I have said kids do not play games, so again good job ignoring what I said. Adult content is not for kids simple as that, if you don't want adult content, do no enable adult content search in the 1st place, disable it, stop looking for them, ignore them. It's the parents responsibility to monitor their kids, not anyone else, the internet is not a day care, get over it.
Your argument is not about safety, this is just an excuse for yourself, and this is really pathetic using kids as an excuse for your poor argument and behaviour, sorry we're done here.
Yea when he start bringing things in that had nothing to do with the topic at hand, he shot himself making bad arguments.
Fully 97% of teens ages 12-17 play computer, web, portable, or console games. Additionally:
50% of teens played games “yesterday.”
86% of teens play on a console like the Xbox, PlayStation, or Wii.
73% play games on a desktop or a laptop computer.
60% use a portable gaming device like a Sony PlayStation Portable, a Nintendo DS, or a Game Boy.
48% use a cell phone or handheld organizer to play games.
How does this disproof my point that there are alot of kids on steam?
Why tell me to do this? This argument is not about me
