Do you mean here?
RIP RSS
https://store.steampowered.com/news/
Probably you should migrate here ratehr than relying on RSS which for all intents and purposes is basically dead
Then, when I want to read news from another news source, that would require navigating to another news page.
RSS got the huge advantage of having all news at the same place, just like you receive email from different senders in one email account.
I mean I get RSS used to have advantages like that
But the reality is that RSS is dead and relying on that or hoping for some fix is a fools errand
Also what are you using that reads RSS but somehow doesn't have a browser. At this point unless you're getting SMS text of your RSS feed on a Motorola Startac 'needs a browser' is kind of an odd thing to be complaining about?
Welcome to 2021 where an E-Mail can even be HTML-rendered stuff.
Anyways RSS-feeds were never designed for news-feeds to begin with. RSS-feeds are more like news-tickers (e.g. having a calendar notification or pop-ups on your smartphone). For the actual news you always had to get to the source of the feed
1) run your rss feed through it
2) read steam news through it
I use Thunderbird for email and RSS and I get the RSS in english.
I use this "https://steamcommunity.com/games/593110/rss/" and "https://store.steampowered.com/feeds/news.xml"
Here is how it looks for me.
