Yep, and its now at the point where its sufficient for 99% of users, so for that remaining 1% they can stop being a cheap ass and pay for their own storage, steam isn;t going to pay for a TB of cloud storage for everyone
If there's no limit, it will be abused. Terabytes of garbage on Steam's servers.
Maybe record a video and send it to your own personal server farm if you're that fixated.
Btw, his oldest screenshot is from 2011. That's 2274 screenshots a year. A bit much, but not impossible. My first screenshot is also from 2011 so I upload less than 1000 screenshot a year. There are games that I don't take any screenshots from, but there are some that are more about sightseeing and I like to take some virtual "photos". And sometimes I check old screenshots if I need them for some post, show my friends something or just when I think of specific game and want to remind it to myself a bit.
And what is fair in the case of uploading 25,021 screenshots in 320x240 or in 7680x4320?
I still think that it is just a datatype for holding the amount of screenshots that has to be increased I don't know maybe from Int16 to Int32
Anyway, the way you guys cares about my screenshots and what is defined as normal behavior is appalling and sad, mind your own business 💋
The cap is shared between artwork and screenshots.
Again though it doesn't change the facts that at some point you can host your own stuff. Steam provides an incredible amount of free storage for users. You could spend 17 days straight taking a screenshot every minute and STILL not fill up your storage space.
So either archive some of your old stuff or you can invest into your own storage system
