It's your account, right? Are you sharing it? If so you aren't allowed to do that, and if it's a family sharing thing then get your own account and people can't see your games.
You need to explain this situation more if we are to even have the slightest clue as to why your idea is even remotely needed, because it sound like you are either doing something you aren't supposed to or you're trying to hide something from mommy and daddy.
To hide them from yourself. Some people don't want to see all owned games for several reasons: they only want to see games they have not yet played so they hide complete games; they don't want to see games they will never play and regret purchasing; they got an unwanted game for free as part of a bundle and they don't like seeing it in their library etc. The hide feature is so that profile owners have some control over what they see in their library - it's not intended to hide games from people who should not be using your account in the first place.
- games that have been replaced with new editions
- multiplayer games that have no servers anymore
or similar cases.
Fact: Steams ToS state that you are not allowed to give others access to your account.
