As Adult games became a thing on Steam.

I am suprised we dont have "Hide" option for those games.

I mean i am not embrased for being a pervert. Everyone can have and like what they want. But i have people who are underaged in my friend list. So i cant play those games, because they can view my games liblary and see those games in there.

I would love option to have separate Adult and Normal liblary, just like Software is separated. With its own privacy settings.

Now hate me, but i love that FINALY we have option to support developers of lewd games on Steam, i just dont want to display it to whole world, or rather to those little ones.

EDIT:Preferencess, and shop searches are not the actual problem. To clarify it, your gaming history and activity is. Have fun explaining your young buddy or sibling of your GF what kind of game do you play on Steam ... Thats my main issue.

Then make your account private or create a second account and family share it with yourself. They aren't going to make:

Why would i make a second account, when there is easy solution for this, and its a something like second space in Steam, isnt this sub-forum for ideas and suggestions? I am not looking for a work arounds. I am presenting my idea and concerns.

I am really glad for all of your tips and your responses. I really am. But i would rather just have different settings for different game categories.

You can dissable separatly Discord game hookups so you can play anything without worrying for anyone to see it. I would like see Steam having feature like this rather then have two accounts which i have to manage or re-log each time i have taste for "different gaming"

I mean i am really glad for all the suggestions and input for my idea. But you guys seems rather agressive, then willing to discuss and unveil or perfect my idea, and i feel like those comments totaly miss the point of this forum. Just my opinion.

Splitting the entire steam store and separating out all the content into alternate versions of steam that have to run parrallel to each other having different rules and restrictions on what content is allowed in them is an EASY SOLUTION?

No one is being aggressive, just pointing out what you claim is easy would be incredibly complicated, and be troublesome.

I mean the witcher games have Nudity in them, so now there is a huge amount of ambiguity over which launcher to use, then you are now FORCING people to use multiple variations of the steam launcher, maintain multiple friendslists across multiple launchers, have multiple settings to configuire across multiple launchers, support tickets being issued from multiple launchers, etc.

Technicaly yes. I would just love discuss the idea of it overall, and would love to perfect it, i did use search button on Steam but did not find those so thanks! But still, i am suprised so many gamers on here by the responses, are so much againts this.

There would be just option for INDIVIDUAL game in privacy settings, Just like Discord has as i stated. You simply go into privacy settings and if you have some game whiuch you want different privacy settings on you just select it, and chose which kind of content (Achivements, playtime etc.) will be showed to what group (Friends, public or private) it will be filter which already exist, it would just be able to set individualy.

Sorry for confusion, i dont want separate Steam mode, altrough it would be cool. Imagine turning "Adult Mode On" protected by pin, and Steam would turn dark-ish red and adult liblary has popped up, hard to do, but cool idea heh.

The point is you said you wanted seperate libraries when in fact the libraries would not be seperated at all. There would still be 1 and only 1 steam library. THAT is the key point because teh suggestion on seperate libraries is the exact opposite of an easy change.
