Remove announcements
Stop using the Steam Announcements notification in the Steam client to spam me, especially if it's just to tell me about the latest popular pornographic game you're selling. I mean, seriously? How can you defend that? Look, I get you sell games to make money, but to send literally everyone of all ages on the platform a notification advertising your adult-content best seller is not cool, on top of the fact that I never wanted to be notified about your Steam Blog in the first place. You need to cease ALL spam operations (including coupon spam). It's that simple. I'm sick and tired of your disgusting disregard for your customers.

There was only one announcement that has been sent to everybody and that was the one about the top sellers for June and if you think it was all about 1 game that was shown instead of the 23 others and showing the reality that you don't have to be a big generic AAA game to succeed on Steam then you should really consider how your mind works and what it focuses on.

As for coupons you need to learn the difference between spam and a loyalty reward as there is always a reason why you get given those.

latest pornography game? uh, okay?

In my 10 or so years on steam I have yet to get a nsfw game recommended in the announcements section

People complained all the time when they weren't told about big things Valve does. Last year with the chat update, they added the announcement notification button/icon.

People complain about that as well.

Zetikla, the game was advertised globally in their Steam blog announcement icon.

Hotsauce, I have no issue with people wanting to opt into Steam blog announcements, but I want to opt out of it and other unwanted notification spam.

maybe don't click them then? but then you can't complain about nothing, right?
That isn't a solution to the problem. If you have issues with complaints generally, why are you in this forum?

A solution can only be there when there is a problem. Steam advertising games is not a problem.
Nice straw man, buddy. Glad you could contribute.

says the guy claiming an announcement was all about advertising an adult game when it was merely part of a list of 24 games included in the announcement.
Nice one
