Steam Cloud, why does it suck?
I will tell you why, even after you delete your local save files and start a new game. Steam Cloud just forces the old save files right back there and you never can start a new game again. Used to be able to force a syncing issue error that would pull the New game save files from your pc and use those to overwrite what was in the CLOUD, but even now that seems to not be an option anymore. Steam CLOUD saves need an option where you can just delete them and start over if you wish. I mean you can disable the cloud storage option in settings but if you ever put it back on it will override the newer saves with the old ones in the cloud anyways.

It makes no sense that there is a website we can go to, inorder to download previous uploaded cloud saves but we can't delete from said website.

I agree that there should be a delete option here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

The force sync to clear the cloud for a game still works, I recently (about a month ago) did it.

Eventually, I fixed my issue by, disabling cloud save on the said game. delete the APPid folder, and the other appid folder, since there were two of them for this game. Started a new game. Copied the new save files from the other folder and pasted them in the junk folder on the desktop. Enable Cloud, watched as the cloud saves overwrote everything yet again, took the new saves from the junk folder, and copied over the cloud saves. FINALLY, the game was at the state I wanted.

I blame FF15 for not just putting a way to manage the saves with in-game better. BUT I am angrier at STEAM for using a there is nothing you can do about its approach for their cloud storage.
