Profile Showcase Title Toggle

A simple toggle / rename option for profile showcases would be very good to have. As someone who would prefer to have a neat profile, the title of the showcases being there without choice takes away from what I'm trying to show. Just being able to check a box that says "hide showcase title" to clean things up a bit would be wonderful.

For example, a screenshot showcase doesn't need to be announced, it's a selection of screenshots. This is also a problem in the free text box as you can't format the title, currently I use it to recommend games so have a title within the box already that I've made a header. So it has a double title.

Why do you think that? I'm not so sure everything requires a label, we don't have "profile picture" over the profile picture or "Profile description" over that. In addition, I don't agree that "Featured Review" etc. is important information over a review you've featured.

I haven't seen any methods for hiding the showcase titles. I think you may be referring to hiding the title of content within them.

I've captured an example and modified it to show what this change could look like:

Here's two showcases As They Are Now

And here's What They Could Be by just the removal of the title on the user's profile when displayed.

Useful when editing, just a waste of space when viewing.

Because no titles would be very confusing for many showcases like achievement showcase, badge collector, favorite game, items up for trade.

Yes, they still have titles on several of the showcases. There's nothing you can do to remove them.

I wanted the titles gone as well. However the bigger picture is that our profiles are just ads for steam to win people from other platforms over. Maybe steam could look at giving 2 pages of profile to us, [Edit Profile] and [Edit game and data showcase]. One for user to be creative with icons and backgrounds, another with more game history information for search engine and developers.
