You will not receive any points for funding your Steam Wallet or for any Steam Community Market purchases.
*this is not a bug report, but a suggestion
Plus, they only want to give points for NEW purchases--i.e. you spending money on Steam. Anything on the market is existing money in the system that someone else already paid for.
People should be able to receive points one time at the moment of buying wallet funds and then they can use these funds however many times to buy market items without receiving any more points.
Thanks for the quick response
Whatever it is, I imagine people who use community market are disappointed.
Buy wallet funds, then buy games with wallet funds, get 2x the points.
Don't give points for wallet funds. If they cover part of the game's price give partial points equal to the credit card part.
