Also due to that they only ever show up on the main store page you can just scroll past it and stop wasting your time on it. The more time you waste on it the more it is your own fault.
Steam allows users to create custom skins.
Custom skins allow you to change how CSS elements are displayed.
EVerything on Steam is more or less defined by CSS Elements
All this does is change certain elements to Not DIsplay when rendering.
It's very much allowed By steam since it is literally a feature they created for users to customize the display. And yes. With a little tinkering and research you can customize just about anything. FOnt size, folor, face, etc, etc
I understand what you mean, and to an extent I agree that it is my own fault for paying them any attention. But I'm not the kind of person who can just ignore a thing that irritates me. I'm the kind of person who likes having the option to get rid of or change that thing. For someone who doesn't care about the curators one way or the other, ignoring them is easy. I do care, and I want to be able to tailor my Steam experience to my own preferences.
