1) the MS store is awful
2) the ms store frequently will not actually upate your games for 'reasons' that are inexplicable and literally cannot be fixed
reliance on the ms store is literally the worst part about xbox game pass
also why not use the steam client perhaps? (i'm wondering if you have it installed if you have win 11) but steam and ms store doesn't really go together and are two different services
Anyway, there is really no point in doing so as you can just go to Steam and download it from Steam, as it's moreover a standalone app. I don't know a single person that uses the ms store or ms itself that plays games, mostly because of how awful the ms store is among many other things.
To which there is a reason why you're running that version.
