auto screenshot option

So I have recently been playing Doom and I love screenshots, but either I cannot or forget to take screenshots. My suggestion is that in the Screenshot menu option there is a timer that every x minutes it'll automatically take a screenshot. sure some of them would be bad but I am okay with this. The default of course is 0 and it should be different for every game so that I can have hundreds of shots from Doom but only a few from Civilization.

How about record the footage and then you can delete the whole thing or scan the footage to parts you do like and screenshot them exactly when you want and then delete the footage?

Almost nobody would want this and it would flood peoples drives because they'd forget about it.

Use recording software, grab stills from it that you like.

You could just use macro software to have your screenshot button repeat via a toggle.

Or better idea, use the search feature and read all the other threads about this topic to see why this is a bad idea and why it should never happen.

Short version of everything I said in that thread....

But again with that auto software if its only taking screenshots ever X amount of time, what happens in between X, you miss the screenshot... unless you take it yourself... in which point kind of makes the automatic software pointless.

Best bet is to use video recording software and then then take screenshots from that, or just upload it to youtube.
