Deletable Stats/ Game Stats Not Permanent

It's really stressful to see that returned games, removed games, deleted games, and friends games still affect achievements, perfect games, completion rate, and badges. I think this is an agreeable unwanted feature and affects myself and many others, I would strongly suggest updating steam to remove the stats for games that have been removed, deleted and/or refunded.

Playtime is used for refunds, so no. If you played 1 hour and 30 minutes, then refunded, Then later bought it again, you only have 30 minutes left before reaching the 2 hours refund limit.

well than at least achievements, and maybe only remove all stats for removing it from your account since you can't refund it after that.

Removing stats for a game would be up to the game developer to allow which is why Valve hasn't made it a thing.

Except Valve did make it a thing. There is an API command to wipe stats (not playtime), as well as achievements.

Why isn't it something Valve lets users do for games Valve does not make? Refer to the answer above.
