Three choices were better than only one way of doing things.
Will insert my copy paste below
Just don't buy games that you are too embarrassed to have in your library or get a second account for such games.
This would also be abused by people playing/buying games that they should not be playing.
These threads popup all the time and most commonly they want to hide the games from family members.
No reason for kids to be able to hide games from parents or family members they should not be playing. So people clearly benefit from not having this option.
Also if people are to immature to have said games in their library without hiding them then they shouldn't be playing them either.
I own HuniePop for the gameplay and don't want to deal with people getting the wrong idea. I should be able to hide it if I want to.
The games list is not your library even if it says Library in the app itself. It is basically the same page for your games if you navigate to your profile and click on Games. It has none of the filters the actual Library does. The only added functionality in the app is remote downloads.
Wrong. Absolutely wrong. Have you used Steam Guard with the app? It's much better.
Anyways, I understand it's not library. It's just the games tab in my Steam profile. But why can't hidden games be hidden from my account? What's the problem with it? I don't want to remove these games from my account, I just don't want people to see the number of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ F2P titles I own. Is that too much to ask?
Guard isn't relevant as the 2 Guard systems require external sources to function. And I was referring to the Games page anyways, since that was the point of what I said before the part you quoted.
They are hidden for your library and that is still technically only available in the client.
