Pride Emoticons.

It would be incredible for steam to add pride emoticons/themed items.
Hopefully to represent everybody.

I appreciate this suggestion.

Emotes and other profile personalization items, chat items.

But not given the same way the current Sale items are, but as optional items in the Points Store or on the Steam Market, so that those who want them can get them, those who don't aren't given items they can't remove from their inventories.

Would be nice to see this implemented next year for Pride Month 2022.

There's a game that allows you to purchase those emoticons.
I don't recall which it is, as I've only seen one person even use them since this isn't twitter.

Yup. Customers and Developers that are interested in video games..

I checked the Steam marketplace and did find a Pride Flag emoticon... but the game dev got banned so there's no way someone could purchase one there. If there's any beyond that one, not sure how to find it.

If you don't like what is currently on the market then... you're just going to have to wait for a developer to make them then.
Valve (probably) isn't going to do this.

You could find the e-mails or social media accounts of specific developers online & then ask them to do this but they can just say no.

Alternatively, you could become a developer & do it yourself (there's publishing fees associated with this, though).

Where there are like half a dozen different pride flags now. Well It was half a diozen last I checked. They've probably added a few more since. So even if a dev wanted to they'd have to ask which pride flag colours and you know the ones they don't pick will get pissy about it.

In no way am I saying that.
I'm just saying many want to have that opportunity. It feels good to express in every way people are comfortable with.

I was also meaning like specific flags, too.

And perhaps, smaller haha.

I know some people may think that's a lot, but if it's done by Valve through default (like these ones ), or steam points, it shouldn't be a problem in my opinion. (They have like 150 Dota 2 animated portraits haha)
