Steam Points Casino

If Steam could have a points casino. Do you have points burning a hole in your wallet? Don't you want to place your bet? Steam can do it but I need your help. Please sign my petition for online Steam points casino changing the entry age to 21.

Valve already cracked down on csgo gambling sites not too long ago, why would they build a gambling site within their own platform

It would only work because it's not cash. We are gambling points but the age barrier exists. Kinda like selling candy cigs to minors.

This was an option to expand you Points Shop experience. I was more concerned about who would be our pit boss.

If I want to gamble my points with Steam, they need only to accept my bet. I though it would be fun just gaming and not loose real cash. I'm running out of things to do in the Points Shop.

Everybody on my side sound off. We can't get this without asking. Even if Steam wants the 7% edge I'm game. Just deal me in and shutup.

At least you are admitting its gambling, which you should know that gambling is illegal for kids to do all over the world even if its not for actual money.

Valve would have to make sure no kids can do that, and because there is no actual way for them to confirm who is an adult and who isn't, they would not setup something like this.

They would basically have to totally change Steam all around and not allow kids on their service. And no they just can't and won't just split up their service so that ones an adult site and ones for everyone.

And yes, just because its not for money its still gambling.

Since gambling on the internet is absolutely illegal in a lot of places, it's never going to happen. Even with 'play' money, it's not appropriate, particularly since you have to earn that "play" money with "real" money.

Since you pay real money in order to obtain points, I thus oppose a Casino for points on the basis it would just be real gambling at that point -an addiction that should not be normalized or spread.

I have plenty of local casinos to enjoy win or loose. I just wanted to spice Steam up without leaving home. That's all.... I wasn't storming the capital.
