Sort Games by Drive Location

Something that'd make managing a large Steam library that spans multiple hard drives easier would be to be able to sort them by which drive they're on!

On top of that it'd be great to be able to sort them within those categories from smallest game to largest, just so I know which games to move off the SSD to the HDD!

There is the option to sort by size on disk, which does largest to smallest and shows which drive they're on.

Not quite what you're suggesting but there is at least that for right now.

Having now looked that up, I see what you're saying and I would say this is definitely a good interim feature, being able to sort the main shelves. At the very least this will help me try to keep my storage situation under control!

What I was referring to though would be similar to this but it sorts the game list on the left side of the steam library page and categorizes them together by Disk and sorts vertically by size. I'd probably put it under the "Play State" filter that already exists.

this used to be quite an easy task in the old UI.. List view was unbelieveably great for game file space management.. Now its an abomination obscured by game cover art.. Its horrible trying to navigate for useful detailed information in a UI thats designed around a childrens pop-up book of ABC's..

"A is for Apple" does little to tell me about the important qualitys of said apple that i need to know while looking at an entire bushel of them at once..
