Currency Symbol Instead of Abbreviation

Turkish Lira has a symbol and it would be nice to see it used on Steam as well since Steam supports a variety of other currency symbols. Correct format for using the ₺ sign is by placing it directly before the price similar to the dollar sign e.g. ₺12,34

Seems like a good idea. Some countries use the same symbol for their currency though. Don't Syria and Lebanon also have a Lira, but not the same Lira as Turkey?

Yes there are other currencies that are also named lira. But this sign "₺" solely represents the Turkish lira (TRY).
