It would be nice if we were able to click and drag the notification to get rid of it, I like knowing what my friends are playing and or if they're online but it can definitely get annoying when I'm reading something and the notification shows and I can only click on it and then close the window to get rid of it (or wait 5 seconds or so).

Hi, I see your confusion. Steam actually removed the Steam's friend notification's settings in their software's original placement, they moved it from Steam settings to friends settings quite a while ago.

Open Steam > Open friends list > Click on the gear icon > Click on notifications

When you click on notifications, you will see all notif pushes, you can uncheck all that you desire.

Hello, I'm talking about having the ability to drag the notifications to remove them instead of having to click on them or having to wait a certain amount of seconds.

As I said, it's helpful for me to know what my friends are doing and if they're online or not but I don't want to have to disable notifications every time I'm reading something, it'd just be easier for me to drag it off screen and have it disappear.
