Please remove abusive rape games from Steam!

I came across the game Deep Sea Death wherein the focus of the game is on a female diver being RAPED TO DEATH by sharks & other sea creatures.

This is way beyond what is acceptable & passable as a "adult game" this is fetishized animal abuse, bestiality & torture.
Images containing depictured animal abuse & rape are illegal, this game should be removed immediately!

If we allow this kind of content to be accessible on a platform like this, we are really giving gaming a bad image.

Reporting pretty much does nothing at this point, really. Just like reporting troublesome users in which they're rarely ever banned. I even reported a game known as APB Reloaded because of shady practices with it being pay-to-win including narcissistic devs and guess what? It's still there.

While I also disagree with these kind of games, it all boils down to content legality. What you might like is possibly disliked by others. Humans have a various set of ethics to abide by.

As long as the sale of such a game is legal, it has a business to stay on Steam. Just ignore the game if you don't want to see it anymore.

If you truly want to change things, you should start to lobby for regulation laws concerning such types of games.

I guess once we had furries, and scalies, that fishies weren't too far behind.

that's a pretty low set of standards -
1: it's been on the store awhile
2: it's not as bad as other games

I'm not sure why the length a game has been on Steam would preclude it from being removed though- especially when Valve changes its standards of what is/is not acceptable to post on Steam in particular some anime games were removed a while back despite being on Steam for a decent amount of time. Not saying these particular games should or shouldn't be removed just that it's not impossible either- unlikely sure but not impossible.

I’m not sure what “it has a business to stay on Steam” actually means, but the idea that legality is the only deciding factor in being on Steam doesn’t even reflect the current reality. Valve announced ages ago, for instance, that they wouldn’t be selling what they deem to be “troll games” - that’s not a statement that such games are illegal, Valve just doesn’t want to stock them. That’s normal. All stores choose what they stock, they’re not obligated to sell everything that’s legal.

To be clear, my complaint is not that I "Don't like it" or the game "Isn't my fetish"
The issue is that depictions of r@pe, torture & Bestiality are illegal.

I don't know why people think this is trolling or joking, I am questioning the legality of the content, I guess people can't see what illegal/harmful content is?
I would love to hear what you think this "game" is about?

I appreciate the advice, I am glad to see that there are other people who support removing abusive content.
Also, I am not at all surprised that there are people who don't understand the problem, maybe they are admitting to finding weird abusive animal "porn" acceptable?

Then you will have no issue providing the laws that say that the content of this game is illegal. Assumptions based on feelings do not count.

Personally I have no issue with these games. I have the Adult Only filter active, so these games don't show up for me. Why not simply do that as well?

If they are in your region. Make a report to that effect and it will be appropriately blocked from your region. But keep in mind that depictions and glorification of murder is also equally illegal but some how I bet you don't complain about just near every FPS out there. Or GTA, etc.

If YOU find it offensive, don't partake of it.

I don't know why he would think those three things cannot be depicted. I mean, How many movies have those first two in them? A ton.
And there's a few movies with implied the last one....

Because in truth it boils down to "I don't like to see it", so some "plausible" narrative gets made up around it to support it.

It's the usual thing we encounter on the Steam forums, honestly. Somehow along the road many people lost the art to simply ignore the things they don't like.
