Good questions, thank you :)
It concerns me because I wouldn't want people to see this harmful content as acceptable, because who would want their children to use a platform that allows animal abuse or abuse in general?
So there is no problem with Steam expanding their market into legal adult content, but if this game was considered legal (which I am certain it's not) then Steam are creating moral & ethical issues by supporting r@pe games.
Look at how people are defending it, like it can possibly be argued that the content is suitable & why are people advocating r@pe anyway?
It worries me that people think this is OK & keep asking me to provide proof that it's not (despite them not providing any proof that it is)
There is a really simple way to understand if something is acceptable or not, use your intuition & decide how you feel about it & if you feel good about it then how would you feel if your child was interested in it?
For anyone else who has questions: I'm only going to respond to genuine questions like this, if you can't see the problem, it's unlikely I'll be able to explain it to you, it's not in my interest to question your morals or beliefs.
Zoophile graphic content is actually legal in the USA except in Oregon and the Virgin Islands: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bestiality_in_the_United_States#/media/File:Legality_of_zoophile_porn_in_the_United_States.svg
theHunter: Call of the wild...
is it cool?
I so understand.
I fell in love with this game at a glance.
Do you realize that I was able to get the game and all of its DLCs for $ 60 once I bought it. the discount was really great. (4 months ago)
and i am not a hunter, i have never hunted and am not interested in real hunting.
but this game is very a masterpiece of the simulation.
And yet that's what's kept STeam in the number 1 slot for over a decade. Those who want something can find and buy it. Those that don't don't have to.
Your previous statements leaves that in doubt
And this one removes the doubt.
As said. You don't like it, ye don't have to buy it. if its legit and breaks no rules then why shouldn't it be there for people who want to and will buy it?
SO. Get rid of the stuff YOU don't like. Well lets both play that game. If Valve followed that rule.we'd only have Wisdom Tree games available on this plaform. N'thanks.
if you feel it violates some law in your region you are free to report it as such and it will if found to be so, be blocked from your region. Problem solved. If not, then your understanding of your region's laws are not as sound as you believe and it will remain where it is. Problem also solved.
A requiest to remove 'Stuff you don't like' from the store so no one can purchase it. Seems pretty dictatorial to me.
Why is it being on steam a problem. You don't have to buy it and only people who want it swill buy it so what's the problem? STeam is a store. It sells stuff people want to buy. That's what store's do.
Just because its not your fetish doesn't mean it, and by extension anyone who would actually buy it, needs to be singled out for derision. As said. If it breaks a law in your region, report it and it will be appropriately flagged, age gated or removed from visibility in your region. Otherwise. the game is properly tagged, and rated and gated. So no harm no foul.
please. gotta love how people attach real life morality to game choices
i almost always go badguy in my games. i love playiing an assassin and sneaking up behind people and slicing their throats.. hell, in the forest, i played for like 100 hours and got an acheivement that told me i was supposed to be looking for my son that i had no clue even existed. i have bought a prostitute then beaten her and taken her money in the gta games. i have gotten in a car and drove dpwn the sidewalk until the car was reday to explode from hitting so many peds in sants row to jump out car jack the next guy and go down the other side. guess what i have never done in real life? yup, none of that, really a good guy.
also, op, hard to see that stuff if you have it filtered
GTA......
How many time I spent punching poor young student girls without reproach....
There is one who even insulted me .... "get off my path ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" you see ... tssss .....
rest in peace my beautiful..
My pleasure was to beat my record for the shortest time before the police completely forgot about me.
And what about prostitutes ...... leaving with all their money after having shot them with a shotgun .....
only great souvenirs.
Killing is criminal behavior. Killing is sick. So why do you not want all games with violence to be removed from the store, eh ?
All of this comes down to "I don't like something, therefore it shouldn't exist" but unfortunately, the world doesn't revolve around you.
