"user has unfriended you" notification. add it alraedy.

this isn't much of a suggestion but a demand for something that was supposed to be in this service from the very start.

why the hell do i recieve no notification when someone unfriends me?
there were at least 3 times when i was talking to someone, about trading, or politics, and after i say something, suddenly they go offline.

i wait for them to go back online
try to contact them with PM
worry that something happened to their steam account of computer

NOPE they just unfriended me without saying a thing

how is that fair?
why am i supposed to be just left haging to guess what happened?
even if i behaved wrongly (which i did not) why can't have the basic courtesy of knowing that my friend doesn't like me anymore?
who is it so difficult to just send a messege in the chat box [user has unfriended you] instead of just leaving me in thin air?

as aditional suggestion, i think there should also be a space where the user can specify why the he decided to unfirend, it will be completely optional though

so will you support my idea?

Because no social site does this. It is up to the user to let you know why. If they don't, oh well.

other social sites make sure change the status of the user, in facebook, if someone unfriends you, you can see on his profile that it says "not friends"

on steam, it just says "offline" now go F'ing figure he is is really online or just unfriende you

If they are not in your friends list. They are not your friend. You don't need to know that ~350 million users are not your friend.
