"Add (multiple) games to (one) category" option (in addition to the existing set (multiple) categories for this (one) game)
When you have a load of games on your account, and they are already split accross some categories in your library, making a new category and getting all the right games into it can be tedious, as you have to find every single one in the existing categories and add it (and it will probably appear in multiple categories so the list is likely 3-4 times larger than the number of games you have). Note: I don't know if my proposition has been made by someone else already.

I'm suggesting the addition of an option to add games from the complete list of games in your library to a category. In particular what I would do is, right click on the category, select an option like "add games...", and then be presented with a list of games with a checkbox next to them, and the option to view them by category or not.

Example case of usefulness:
I just realized I wanted to play something Sci-Fi, but I don't have such a category. I can immediately come up with a 4X game, an RTS, a shooter, and an MMO. Actually more than one in some categories. Also some entire categories may fit in, which will make selection easier (e.g. Star Wars). Currently I have to hunt them down one by one in all the different categories, avoid duplicates (just a waste of time realizing you've already added it), and go through the process of openning a new window for each game and selecting the category. If instead I had to open one window and could just tick all those games and it was just saved, it would be of great use.

On categories vs list of all:
Both options should be available both in this suggested feature and in the library in my opinion. Categories have many duplicates and make the list enormous, but as I mentioned, when I want to play a sci-fi game, it's likely the Star Wars or Star Trek category will come in handy. I think both views should be available.

I hope this is helpful.

It's not what you're asking for but are you using ctrl+click or shift+click

Yup! Selecting multiple games can be done already.
