Steam VR on a Mac legacy version please! or restart support for Mac.

I am aware that Steam have stopped developing SteamVR for the Mac despite starting to support Catalina. However since they did at one time not that long ago support I would very much like to be able to instal an earlier version of Steam with SteamVR when it did run on Catalina or High Sierra.
My reason for wanting this is to use Vive goggles within Twinmotion which Epic recently bought out which is not a game but 3D design software..
I am a 3D Design software reseller and trainer and VR for such applications is about to explode in my opinion!
Of course the best outcome would be that Steam restarted their support for the Mac!!

Honestly you should just bootcamp into windows

Not to mention Apple has literally abandoned x86 so dont expect a lot of support on a platform Apple fundamentally has killed. Why waste resources on a platofrm that will not exist in 2 years

OP, are you going to pay for that support? If not, what other reason than your personal desire is there to spend resources to restart that support?

Hi Steve. I have the same issue. Twinmotion purportedly works on Mac and the only way to do this was through Steam. The "solution" of bootcamp is definitely not as simple as implied.https://egpu.io/boot-camp-egpu-setup-guide/ is possibly the best recourse for this. I gave it a try and am having problems finding a legacy version of windows. The problem of using a legacy version of windows or mac is that twinmotion doesnt export to older versions of itself anyway. So yeah. Stuck! If you have a time machine of your mac system from April, I would reinstall that and try the Steam Beta on it. I didn't update time machine for a few months (covid) and am no regretting it.
