Error in french translate

Hi, I've seen some points have been added to some french words by your translate service. I'm here to inform you that this is not correct in french to do that. That kind of writing is used by political activists, who try to change the way we write. I feel offended that Steam allow that kind of activism in it's platform and I want it to be removed.

More precisely, I speak about some words in the friend's menu, where you can read, for exemple : "Gérer la liste d'ami.e.s". In correct french it's "Gérer la liste d'amis", without points. Another example : "Ajouter un.e ami.e.s", in correct french it's "Ajouter un ami". In french, the masculine form is also a sort of general form, it include female by default. So any addition is unecessary.

If, when people talks between them, they are not using it, then it's not evolution of langage.

'inclusive writing' is a no sense.

Using a correct French in Steam app is mandatory !

Maybe you don't know french very well, because it already was inclusive, and now they want to make it "separating", sexist and ugly. So we want to avoid a regression, to be "conservative" or even "progressist" (unfeminize some work functions, to make it neutral) is good.

Be honest: you never thought that "Bonjour à tous", "les amis" etc. don't includes "female" people. It's obvious. Some people have a need to invent problems and fights to add sense to their life, and they are opportunely used by those who want to divide and destroy us as a culture, a language...
So male and female gamers are always included because we don't care about the sex when we talk about people, when we say "le joueur" or "le ministre" or "le maire", we all know that it can be a woman. Only the feminin is exclusivly used for female people, that's why we should always use the masculin, as neutral.
But always saying things twice (male and female, distinct in two words), or putting some signs in words, no, not possible, you just can't make this attack to a language and a spirit like that. Our language and thougt are mixed since decades. Except maybe for the "new" French people, but they need to learn how it works, instead of make such a regression for us. "oh, you are a female gamer, very strange!" => back to 1950.

How could you pretend knowing French better whereas your proposals contradict the Académie Française itself. :\

Actually, inclusive writing is a very recent invention.
Someones may need it. The majority does not.
In any case, it is not the norm.

Non mais c'est une blague ou quoi, les pages des jeux sont défoncées maintenant, il y a partout "utilisateurs et utilisatrices" comme si le mot "utilisateurs" ne contenait pas les utilisatrices déjà !!! Comme je vous disais, ces sexistes essayent de nous faire penser les sexes séparés en toutes circonstances, toujours deux mots pour deux groupes distincts ! Mais quid de ceux qui ne se reconnaissent ni dans les "utilisateurs" mâles, ni dans les "utilisatrices" puisqu'il parait que ça existe et qu'on doit en tenir compte ? Vous ne voyez pas que vous êtes incohérents et faites n'importe quoi ? Je suis tombé sur des blogs qui justement tentent de mélanger théorie du genre et sabotage de langue française en réfléchissant à encore plus de formes pour prendre en compte les anomalies chromosomiques ou je ne sais quoi (à chacun son orthographe et sa langue, afin que la façon d'écrire reflète son identité et sa singularité... on est dans les pires idéologies venues d'outre-atlantique), encore une façon de diviser le peuple en sous-groupes plus faciles à dominer et éventuellement à monter les uns contre les autres, comme là où on se retrouve à devoir basiquement défendre notre langue natale.

Et même, à supposer que vous ayez une bonne raison : vous êtes qui pour l'imposer comme ça à tous ? Qu'est-ce qu'on va devoir faire pour que vous arrêtiez ?
