Library search filters by developer
Sometimes when I am going through my games, I just want to be able to filter by the developer through the search bar. Like if I was to search "Valve" it would come up with only the Valve titles in my games library. I could obviously make collections for that but I just think this might be more useful/user friendly.

That is a very good feature that I would also adore if they were to add.

I was just thinking of making a post suggesting this. I agree and want to see this implemented as well.

"Developer" was one of the columns you could enable and sort by in List View, before Valve got rid of List View in last year's big Steam UI update.

List View was like a big spreadsheet of all your games, showing their various attributes. If you wanted to see Valve games, you could just click the "Developer" column header, sorting by dev name alphabetically, then scroll down (or up, if you clicked it twice) to V in the alphabet.

Your request, OP, is one reason (among many others) that they shouldn't have gotten rid of List View, or now that they have, a reason that they should re-implement it.
