User Interface scaling in 4k

Hi!
Since my pc monitor passed out and until i can buy me an other screen i'm forced to use a 50" 4k TV with my computer.
And for steam it's really not ideal because the UI seem to not scale the 4k format.

So it's impossible for me to read anything on steam if i stay at the minimum of 6.5 feet from my screen (minimal safe distance recommended).
I'm forced to be at only 3 feet if i want to be able to read things and i can say that it's really annoying.

Especially when ingame i got a friend chat notification.

I can't play at 3 feet from my screen because it's really too near and hurt my eyes, but then if i need to chat with a friend, i can't because i can't see what is writted.

I really hope that you will add an option in steam where we can choose the UI scale.

4k is now out since a long moment and i'm surprised that nothing is already done to adapt Steam to new technology.

ok.
So now i know that i can forget my idea to have a fix toi this problem which is here since more than 6 year and not already fix.
:(
