Pending game updates should show the file size
I have a restrictive download cap at home, so I can't download large file sizes when I'm at home.

Would it be possible to get the predicted download size for an update before giving the go-ahead?

Likewise, would it be possible to add an option for choosing a download limit for automatic updates, and only downloading the updates that are smaller than that limit?

Just set your automatic updates to only run within a specific time frame and no. beyoned starting the update there's no way.

You could also set your games to update only when you run them

That doesn't actually solve the problem that, until you actually start the download for each individual game, you won't know how large the download required is. Each game lists the size as 0 Bytes downloaded of 0 Bytes, and doesn't fill in the actual update size until it starts actually downloading the update. Even if you have multiple updates, only the currently-downloading update has anything other than a zero for the update size.
