If i could see who visit my profile Page, maybe example the status and description in profile or just the page ,anything like .

The spam that will be generated for, "check out my profile" will be enormous.

So in addition to the "please comment on my profile" and "+rep for +rep" threads, we'll get "Check my profile" threads as well? No thanks.

If Valve would ever implement something like that, which I highly doubt, it would need an option to turn it off for both sides. You know, turn off such a thing on your own profile and also not be listed on someone elses profile for the people not interested in something like that.

people ask for comment on their profile wanting +resp or something that will give them some credits,but to view profile that would be something as additional feature for the owner of the acount does nothing to my profile , +its interesting to know who visit my profile ;) imo

you can ask for comments on your profile using your profile, if you ask on the forums, it can and does get reported as spam. those threads normally get locked/deleted by the mods.

and do you really want to know who is visiting your profile? botxxxxx1, botxxxx2, botxxxxx3, etc, etc, etc. the real question you should be asking is WHY are people visiting your profile.

NO!!! Just like all the other threads on this topic its a bad idea. The 100+ times it was suggested already it was a bad idea, its a bad idea now and it will be a bad idea the next 1000+ times its suggested.


If for what ever reason Valve put this in, which I doubt they will ever do, as Crazy Tiger says, it has to be optional so that you don't have it on your profile and you don't show up on others profiles but I'm gonna go a bit further and say it needs to be off by default for both.
