Automatically Switch Power Plan When Running A Game.

Would be great If You can switch power plan to high performance mode from within big picture mode when PC Is hooked to a TV.

Will never happen, Steam does not have and should never have control over anything other than itself on any OS.

You want to switch power plans when you run a game, then do it yourself.

Only option I can think off to do this via Steam would be to add Windows Command Prompt as a non-Steam Game. C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd.exe

Then run cmd.exe whilst in Steam BPM.
Enter the following

powercfg /l

Example
C:\Users\Suicidal Monkey>powercfg /l

Existing Power Schemes (* Active)
-----------------------------------
Power Scheme GUID: 381b4222-f694-41f0-9685-ff5bb260df2e (Balanced) *
Power Scheme GUID: 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c (High performance)
Power Scheme GUID: a1841308-3541-4fab-bc81-f71556f20b4a (Power saver)

Next enter

powercfg /s

folllowed by the GUID you want to activate.

Example

C:\Users\Suicidal Monkey>powercfg /s 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c

That will switch power mode to High performance so if you relist the powercfg you'll see

To switch back repeat the process entering the GUID for which ever plan you want. Either edit the 3 you want how you want outside of BPM or create new one specific to when you are using BPM.
Either type exit and hit enter to leave or click the x.

You seem to be confusing steam with windows. Their suggestion box accepts ridiculously bad ideas like that though. Maybe they'll even hire you at microsoft.

manually you can set every app to run in high performance while windows is still on saver mode right? windows 10 is great...no im telling you that you can im not asking lol
