Report a translation problem
My point is that IP means nothing. Doesn't matter whether it originates in the US, UK, Europe, Asia or China. All that can be faked. The only info you need to know is IF a login attempt failed or succeeded when it originates from an unknown device/browser. The IP it comes from is worthless.

I only log in from my PC at home and it never guessed the city correctly.
On Google maps I marked my actual location and the most common locations Steam shows me on that link.

That is your ISP doing that. Talk to them.
Cathulhu has stated it is very inconsistent and even far away at times.
Mine stays within 20 miles from where I am.
The farthest one is more than 160km (100 miles) away from my actual location.
