iOS emote stickers?

So the steam mobile thread is kinda just bogged with tech support so this might get better exposure here.

Wonder if we could get some iMessage sticker integration similar to how twitch has where you can use emotes that you have gotten in iMessage. It’d be super cool if we could use emotes we got for badges in there.

You can use the emoticons that you get on Steam, just like the android version.

not talking about steam messaging or steam chat. there is literally a feature in ios for imessge called stickers and its basically emoticons from different apps such as twitch and fallout shelter and even reddit has some.

And none of those are needed on Steam as Valve already has made their own market for emoticons on Steam.

And I don't think Apple would approve of it either.

The market for emotes on steam would literally stay intact. It’s just adding some simple integration onto the steam app for iMessage. Heck, it’s probably improve some selling prices of emoticons as you’d be able to use them outside steam chat as well.

You’re right that Apple may not approve due to some emotes for the less sfw games but if you’ve seen some of the twitch emotes they allow for subscribers, that stuff can get pretty close to nsfw.
