Stop using GLS for shipments
Using GLS is just asking for trouble, both me and my friend had/have a ton of issues with our Index delivery. Their tracking service is terrible, and so is their customer support.
I'm still waiting for my parcel, I called my regional GLS office but they had no idea where it was, so they told me to call the Dutch office (they cant even communicate internally). Turns out you can only send them an email which takes a week for them to reply to.

Funny thing is they already sent me an email couple days ago saying "We will deliver your parcel by tomorrow", well that was a fcking lie.

While i'm not actually fond of GLS, my Steam controller shipment was almost exemplary. It arrived without issues within the estimated timeframe.
I have heard quite a few tales where things went wrong though. Although the same is true with DHL (which i had zero issues with) and Hermes (can be good, can be terrible).

Having a choice of who it is shipped with would be a good idea. As long as it isn't Amazon Logistics. Those are awful.

I have an issue with GLS too (I live near Paris). I really don't like this company since I had many troubles with them. I should have my Steam Controller now, but at first they sent me a mail saying they couldn't deliver the product the day it was planned. OK. I asked a delivery in a shop, received a mail confirming my choice... And then nothing ! The tracking indicates the delivery to be on the second step, so it doesn't seem to be ready at all... Really professionnal... :lunar2019madpig:
