Disable automatic Voice Chat when starting Remote Play Together
For some reason Remote Play Together starts an automatic voice chat whether you want it to or not. If I want a voice chat, I'll start it myself – but 99% of the time, I don't want it to, so please remove this or at least add an option to turn it off. It's annoying as hell.

Yeah I find that annoying too. So Plus 1 on that.
Maybe it detects our headset with mic?
There is no option to turn it off in Steam>settings >remote play >advanced> settings .

Yeah I noticed that my mic was live during the time I was trying to lobby as well, and I'm Not Happy About That. :/

+1 I'd like an answer to that question as well.

I sense the situation where Steam want to promote "OH GOLLY WE HAVE VOCAL CHAT TOO !" even though you're using already something else anyway. For example because you discuss with people before playing and hence Steam's vocal chat is redundant. I sense something stupid like that. I mean it's not like they're going to lose money because people are using different vocal softwares.
