I want something like Chrome's incognito tab, where the history is deleted after the tab is closed.
You already have this, its called family share to another account if you are too embarrassed to play certain games. Or tell people who make fun of you for playing certain games or playing games so much to either stop or be removed from your friends list.
Valve and the makers of the games needs to know how much you play and they are not going to keep 2 separate times just because you are embarrassed about how many hours you have in a game.
If its because you don't want your boss/family to see how many hours you are playing, well you shouldn't be playing while at work or at school/working on homework.
So you already have choices. Use family share, or tell others to stop bugging you about the games you play. People really need a bigger backbone when it comes to telling people off who are bugging them about the games they play.
So is it to hide the "less appropriate" games or to mask the hours played for your games? In either case, the invisible mode will cover the former, nothing can be done about the latter as that has to do with your account and refunds as well.
No record of owning or playing any of these games on your normal account.
