Multigaming
Please enable running more than one game at a time.
I want to be able to run more than one game from my library at the same time. Either on the same computer or another on the same network. (this is not sharing) I simply want to be able to have multiple games running properly at the same time.
Most games are no issue but the steam integration is the thing causing unconvinience.
Given, could get another copy of certain games which are also available without steam integration but it would be way more convinient if steam would support this.

Thanks in advance

One uses keyboard and mouse one uses joystick/controller.

Both use 2 different controllers. (There are split screen games and local coop on steam that can support 4 people, which means you can use 4 controllers)

One uses joystick one uses controller.

No need for the extra software to do all that, it can all be done natively now. Again its all up to the developer of the game to include screen split.

Valve is not going to do that for games, because the second it doesn't work because the game doesn't like it, Valve gets blamed even though its the game thats messed up.

Yeah, gamepads also works.
If Steam could only allow launching two instances of the game side by side and assigned different keyboard, mouse, controllers, etc. to each instance of game, then we could basically play any multiplayer game in splitscreen.

I did this by using SoftXpand, Sandboxie and disconnecting router from internet. I was able to launch same game twice and play coop on one PC.

And yes, it works great as long as your PC can handle running two games at the same time.

Oh my, this has gone off topic quickly :D
Just to clarify. The request is not about playing the same game multiple times at once or ways to share it with others. I simply want to be able to easily play multiple of my games on more than one device simultaniously. Like two notebooks side by side. (playing on the same system is possible with few downsides)

Reckon Valve could soften those restrictions and allow playing of f2p or offline only games without killing other steam logins on the same network.

Won't happen. You can't physically play 2 games on 2 different machines at the same time. The only thing this would do is make it incredibly for people to share games and take away sales from developers.

F2P games already can be used by every account.

I've had LAN parties with 6 people all logged in to their own Steam Accounts. All playing the same game and sometimes different games without issues. So it doesn't kill other steam logins.

I've played several MMORPG games often using 2 accounts and running both on a single PC. That requires a second account and a second copy of the game.

You can't play the same game from your library on multiple devices at the same time. Same as you couldn't play the same console game on a console next to it using the same account. If you want games like that ask the devs of those games to allow it users to log in multiple times.

Technically you can in a physical means. Just not the way OP wants the software to work.

Can multibox. Often used for mmorpgs. I used to have to PCs side by site. Along with 2 montiors, 2 mice and 2 keyboards when I played EverCrack2 for years. Ok my second character was on autofollow but I could hit and ability on one character, queue the next. Then I'd hit an ability on the other character/PC and queue another ability. Then back to first character and repeat.

They won't allow it because people would rent their libraries for a monthly fee.
And it's easy to make any two PCs look like they're on the same network.

Only way you could play games on multiple PCs is to disconnect them from the internet.

If you want to play two different games with internet connection, you could use SoftXpand and plug in second monitor and mouse and keyboard, and then play them.
