Can you make it so people who aren't my friend can't message me?

I don't wanna block them, I just don't want them to be able to message me just because they have a chat window with me open before I removed them.

Now when people message me it says

" a person isn't your friend messaged you, allow communication or block? "

How do I make it so I don't get that message AT ALL, because i'll be in a game, and i'll get a steam message from someone I just deleted, and i'll be able to see it in minimized form on the bottom right side of my screen as if a friend was messaging me. When I don't want to see that at all, nor the quote above.

You will receive messages from a user if you did NOT unfriend them prior to blocking them.

Messages will propagate if you do not unfriend the user.

So, to correct your suggestion (or at least the title of the thread); you wish that it's possible that users that you've blocked (but are still added) be unable to access a chat window as you've instantaneously blocked them.

You worded that very weird, I don't wanna block ANYONE, I just don't want them to be able to message me after I remove them.
I don't wanna see " ♥♥♥♥ you, why you remove me " pop up while i'm gaming even though were not friends.

Obviously if I block them I won't have this problem, but I don't wanna block them.

As I've previously said, you will not receive messages if they are not added.

If you are still getting messages, it's clear that you've not unfriended them.

Test it yourself.

I'm saying if they still have the chat window open after I remove them, they CAN STILL MESSAGE ME and have it pop up while i'm gaming minimized, so I have to read it.
and if i'm not gaming it will pop up like this.

THEN when I actually click to read it it will give me the " allow message or block person option. "

I don't want EITHER OF THESE THINGS, I don't want small pop up's bottom right corner of my screen, I don't want that allow or block quesiton either.

Pretty sure I know how to remove friends on Steam after 5 years, but okay.

Correct, but you will not receive those messages if you've unfriended prior to blocking the user.

Umm, no, pretty sure I'll still get the messages if they have a chat window open with me just before I remove them from my friend list. (this has nothing to do with blocking, and yes i'm aware you can block friends without actually removing them)

Just to clarify, I did not experience this, but this is from the CS:GO changelog:

– Allow sending a Steam message to recent teammates using new Steam chat.

I am quite sure that users not on your friends list can now send messages to you, which I agree with OP would be annoying because normal people do not want to receive messages from strangers.
