Bring paypal back as a payment option for countries outside the united states

A lot of people in my region can only use paypal as a payment option but since steam doesn't have that anymore we can't make any purchases anymore. And since summer sale ends soon I don't think this will be added before then :( (me region is in the middle east)

yes it does, i've used paypal a lot of times and im still using it and it works fine

Contact Paypal and ask them to support your country's currency so that you can use it to purchase things on Steam.

I wonder - don't you have credit cards in Qatar? If you don't - does paypal access your bank account directly (like it is in USA). If you do have credit cards - what is the problem paying with them? (except for double conversion overhead)

Paypal must support the currency regardless of what cards are attached to the account.

For any other method, it does not matter what currency it uses.

Not really. In Ukraine we can pay with Paypal, but can't accept payments. And if you happen to wrongly tune the currency conversion (which is the default setting, btw) - you are doomed to waste cash on double or even triple conversion!

Not really. In Ukraine we can pay with Paypal, but can't accept payments. And if you happen to wrongly tune the currency conversion (which is the default setting, btw) - you are doomed to waste cash on double or even triple conversion!

PayPal doesn't support my country currency, but I can both send and receive money without any problems.
Everything automatically gets converted to Euros and I never had any problems purchasing from Steam or any other site.
