Suggestion : possibility to delete your own saves on cloud
Hi folks!
Due to some problems on Dragon Ball FighterZ (servers lagging and auto-kicked from lobbies), I was unable to read all the tutorial.
I tried to start a new game, without success.
Then, I stopped Steam cloud and was allowed to launch a new game from beginning.

But when I ticked Steam cloud box again, the first save was loaded.

In the end, my save was erased after a ticket to the support (and big thanks to them, Steam support is always responsive and friendly!), but don't you think it could be cool, when you get into some troubles like this (still, the part from the game was not a big deal, but if it happens on some important cutscenes...), to have the possibility to erase yout saves on cloud, without asking the support to do it?

Any idea?

1. Turn off Steam Cloud for the game.

2. Play the game until you get to a new check point. Save, close and log out of Steam.

3. Login again and turn on Steam Cloud for the game.

4. Start the game. It will ask you if you want to use the Cloud files or not. Choose not to use the Cloud saves.

Not on all games. ;)
Actually, that's why I first unticked the cloud, hoping to create a conflict between the Steam cloud save and the local save. But at least for some games, it doesn't work. :(

Was in a simliar situation a while back. Had to delete unneeded old cloud saves for a game because it kept redownloading them, taking up drive space and slowing down the game (and I still wanted to use the cloud for my new playthrough).
The game didn't have the ability to delete saves in-game and manually deleting them didn't work either. I don't remember all the details but no regular solution worked so I had to force the sync conflict dialog by using a Powershell command to corrupt all the local save files without deleting or changes their name. So while the conflict dialog was up, I manually deleted all the
save files and then choose the option to upload the local saves to the cloud (which basically removed all the cloud saves with nothing).

So a simpler way of doing this would be a nice feature.

I agree that this would be a good improvement. The workaround I currently use for these situations is
  1. Launch the game
  2. Alt-tab to the desktop
  3. Browse to the game's folder and manually delete the save files
  4. Alt-tab to the game, and quit normally
Because the erasure of save data happened while the game was running, Steam Cloud should assume it was valid and accept the changes.
