Don't like them then don't buy them.

You don't get to dictate what other people can buy.

you consider them hentai, the rest of us consider them art. muv-luv trilogy for example, highest rated VN story of all time... you'll never find anything that gets anywhere close, the closest anime is code geass (and guess wut? there's a scene where a character masturbates in code geass too, s1e12, give or take?)

not for works of art like muv-luv trilogy, son. or little busters, or even that one on steam that has a dog and human going at it, cuz it's a great story (and rated like #6? )

link to that one:
don't forget to get the uncensor patch cuz otherwise u miss 90% of the game

Visual novel, sexual content? See that is the type of game that shouldnt be on steam, instead it should be like directly ordered off the developers website, like back in the day. Im not against porn games, but they should be where they b elong, on adult sites.

you realize the games don't actually have any pornographic content in them?

all the versions avaliable on Steam are censored to have such content removed, as is the policy..

They do. Kindred spirits, ghost in the shell, as long as they're verified, it's added. They've been working to add more uncut content for games... The ones that don't sometimes have patches somewhere like rabbit hole.

You small dictators are always so nice to deal with and have to suffer from.
Steam need to be VERY careful about this content. Images involving under age sex, not just photos but drawings too, are illegal in many parts of Europe and North America.

If Steam is repeatedly selling games where there's an offsite conversion by the publishers to add illegal content it could be prosecuted for aiding and abetting the distribution of illegal images.

Plus this is a scandal that Steam doesn't need. If Facebook et al have had Nazi and paedophile groups amongst their millions of customers I assume that Steam will have them too.

That combination could bring Steam a lot of the worst type of publicity reasonably imagineable and could lead to it being banned if it didn't get its act in order.

Steam should have a firm rule not to allow any product that features under age sex or incest - whether shown graphically or not. It's not worth risking the rest of the site for this rather unsavoury minority interest.

It's considered a form of art, and doesn't fall under the same jurisdiction. Maybe in some backwards country/states it can be considered against the law? but in japan it's not. it's part of the culture this kind of thing, lol. steam distributes them just fine, and atleast one is fully uncensored (kindred spirits)
steam also allows certain AAA publishers to publish their X-rated patch publicly, like Circus: (Dal Segno), and muv-luv has x-rated patch too, etc.

Hi Yuiko,

There's a difference, legally and morally, between sex between adults and sex involving minors.

Consensual sex is legal and overall (it does get very complicated) probably does more good than harm.

Sex between adults and minors causes incredible degrees of harm to the child victims and is becoming a major welfare issue across the planet.

Steam shouldn't be a safe place for the promotion of sex offences against children or incest.

Please save the moral BS. A good majority of sexual offenders doesn't knows how to use a computer. Sexual theme is part of anime and anime women look always very young. Buts its animation only.
Do you even know that Fallout and Skyrim can be modded to pure hentai? Lets remove those from Steam too?
