Why do publishers hate free market economics so much that they won't let me vote with my feet? If Denuvo is so grand they should be shouting this from the rooftops, not burying it in fine print.
Denuvo/Uplay/Origin/GFWL/Rockstar Social will be the 'death' of steam
Yet seemingly steam is still here despite everyone and their grandmother claiming that somehow some program they don't like that barely even registers as existing on your system is going to 'kill' steam.
Don't use crappy anti-virus software, and you won't get nearly as many false positives.

Right on the store page. That is where the 3rd party DRM is always located if not explicitly listed. Talk to Bandai Namco to put the Denuvo on the store page.
Even if you did, the main topic of my post is being sidestepped.
As I indicated, some people literally LUST Denuvo, and to be fair that is their choice. I'm merely asking for my right to vote with my feet in a free market economy without the Denuvo politburo thrusting their software upon me by stealth.
Is that ok with you?
I have flagged the game for not including the "3rd party DRM" notice, not sure how I would even start a constructive dialogue with them in the first place to get them to do the right thing. That seems like an opportunity for Valve to look after its customers.
They have met the requirements as they have listed it in their own EULA. It is the users responsibility to read any and all listed agreements before they make a decision on whether or not they want to purchase the product. Failing to do so is not the fault of the store front or the publisher as they have fulfilled their obligations to inform the potential purchasers of any extra DRM in their products.
So, this begs the question: some publishers use the "3rd party DRM" notice, and this game doesn't. What's the point of the notice? Doesn't DBFZ not displaying the notice set a precedent for the other publishers to abandon the notice?
If Windows Defender is causing trouble with a DLL file make sure to remove any third-party DLLs from your game folder, verify the game cache (assuming you actually own the game), and try again.
