Make Steam Drive like a Google Drive
:floppy: Make right in to Steam synchronise/backup files from computer.
I have ~20 Gb space in Steam Cloud for screenshots, and i don't want :mkguano: in Steam this pictures, but I want use this space from Cloud for my files.
:wrench: Features:
-synchronise folders from different space on different computers
-work in mobile app
-work with modding games :theShipWrench:.
-can configure for save game, which not have option Cloud Save
-can add paid features (like a more space or subscription)
-share files to the net, with possibility watch file right in browser like pictures/video/text (if this is a problem for piracy/censor/unwanted files, then it is not necessary)

If you not understand - it is suggestion ... SUGESTION ... S U G E S T I O N !!!

Government should legalize murder - it is suggestion ... SUGESTION ... S U G E S T I O N !!!

/because giving reasons is overrated. Seriously, if you want your "S U G E S T I O N" to have some merits, you should at least try to give talking points on how the other, implementing party can benefit.

Then use Google Drive. There is no reason for Valve to make such thing as "Steam Drive" when the majority of the People is going to abuse (guaranteed) the space to store crapware and such.

Ok, if it's hard to understand, I cross out this point. And present it for personal use only.

Valve is a business, not a non profit organisation. If you make a suggestion, it helps to keep in mind that if you want to see it implemented, you provide one or more arguments on how it improves their bottom line.

Going "Hey Valve, spend $50k in developer time and $5 per user a year to provide a service a dozen unrelated business already do, because I prefer to keep all my stuff in one place" isn't going to see the light of day.

The only thing I can think of is that it slighly raises customer engagement with the service, while going outside of their core services.

By your logic, do not write any suggestions at all, because all of them need to spend a lots of money.

Exactly. All function right now using in Steam. They need only make access and user interface for what I asking.

They'll need to do a lot more than that. At the moment, Steam Cloud is similar to an automated backup service. It only backs up specific files, with a limited and specialized function for uploading screenshots and artwork. Converting Steam Cloud into a cloud storage like Googke Drive is going to require a lot more than a new user interface.
