Valve Video Policy
I am building a dota 2 highlights channel since august, coze it was so frustrating to see NoobFromUA doing ♥♥♥♥ low rez videos. Now i understand why.
The thing is that Valve Video Policy starts like this: "We encourage our users to make videos using Valve game content". Replays aren't Valve game content? When i open my game i see the watch button i press it and i see replays , i mean in the game, and that replay when i open it gives me a window to chose the language , the caster , IN THE GAME. So seems legit to record a replay or parts of it with this casters.
But than Valve publish an article where it puts more conditions: "not using any of the official broadcast’s content such as caster audio, camerawork..."
So in my opinion Mister Valve, Dota had a growing community while you let the community have fun with the game. Now you make this companies owners of the tournaments and they bann youtubers. Remember who made dota popular? This companies that only want our money, that they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about your game? Or youtubers? Just think about that, and when you give permission to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to organize a Major or a Minor they should give you the broadcasting rights.

If this is a YouTube problem you have an issue with.

I just read about how YouTube is changing things, & it's effecting STEAM & other platforms, & so many other people on YouTube right now, & I also have verified this myself as well, since I
also have a YouTube Account, but I read that it is taking in effect as of Feb 1st 2020.
Are you sure, it does not have anything to do with this Topic? YouTube also has a new Policy.
Not just Valve.

Reason I brought up YouTube, is this line in your Post, right here.

Youtube has nothing to do with this. COPPA is nothing, you just mark your videos as not for children and that s it, dota anyway is not for childrens. The problem is that the organizers have the rights doe the broadcastig camerawork and casters voice, and it's fair coze the organizers pay them. But my problem is that Dota is popular coze of youtubers ,not coze this organizers, while Vale was the one organizeing this Majors and Minors there was no problem you could do your videos coze Valve would let you, is in Valve interest that fans make videos and make dota popular. Now that the Majors and Mynors are organized by private companies they want exclusivity, only they can stream or make videos with this casters, so youtubers will just make worse content about dota, coze you as youtuber can't pay a pro caster, than new potential players will not watch this videos so they will never get to play the game, that means less player in dota than tournaments wont be comercialy viable and so on. Just my opinion, Ill just do videos with no sound and i ll do my own camerawork to. ♥♥♥♥ Valve

ignore coppa and youtube, youtube simply lied to all its content creators, they knew about the coppa changes since 2013 and ignored them, they also after being fined decided to only give the options for children or adults, when coppa states people who target both children and adults have nothing to worry about.

also you can stream any game you please through "fair use" laws, copyrights are useless.

watch both of these videos in order 1st posted then second posted...

LOL, this videos are like the ones about aliens. Someone saw, someone said, some unknown number called and said it was... I got a call from youtube last knight and youtube told me ...Come on man. If someone has copyright rights of a voice cast, song or whatever, they can copystrike your videos and youtube can't do nothing. And you get your channel bannned. I upload 3 or 4 videos a day in tournaments i can get 3 copystrikes everyday. Stop being a kid. Like i said, i know this tournament organizers have the rights of the voice casters during the event and that is normal, they pay them. What i trying to say is that if Valve don't do something about this Dota will get less popular in just 2 or 3 years. Dota is a hard game, a new player has to learn 111 heroes?, each hero has 4 or 5 spells, already hard, then they get to chose from more than 150 item, most of this items combine and become another one, it's not an easy game. So you want ppl to play your game that is already hard, and how do you do that? Let ppl see the game on youtube where most ppl watch about games. Look at Minecraft, why do you think it's so popular? coze of tournaments? Minecraft has no tournaments, coze of youtube, ppl play minecraft and have fun doing it than they upload videos on youtube. So Valve do somthing before is too late pls.
