I hope all of games support cloud save
Not all games support cloud saving as that is a choice made by the developers, publishers to implement.

most of all developers and publishers don't know how to support the steam cloud save
Can't Steam make a cloud save for unsupport could save games?
Can't Steam force to support the cloud save?

Game developers and publishers have the freedom to utilize whatever Steam offers.

So devs not adding cloud saves is devs not adding cloud saves and if they do, they do. That much is definitive.

My 2 cents
Cloud saves can damage saves so I never use it.
Just backup your game's saves off the HDD to an external HDD. More reliable.
The only purpose is to use same Steam account on a different computer

In order to support cloud saves, Steam needs to know the location of your save data.

Steam Cloud supported games either notify the Steam Client of the location of the save data or they request a Steam Client managed folder to store save data in.

Cloud saves only seems become an issue when it's a game with mods. Because then you need the exact mods that you had with the same.

But I've never had it damage my saves. It's just that it remembers them all.

^^ though I don't think I've ever lost more than like 4-8 hours in anything, this is the truth.

Unless it's *absolutely necessary* I turn off the cloud.

Yeah, i had much more playtime than the 50 hours i lost but i lost just that due to cloud. Not a friend of the cloud since then. :bear:
