A way to transfer save games through steam (possibly through the streaming feature)
So I know that a lot of games do not offer cloud servers (which is understandable it gets expensive). But at the same time I like to play games on multiple computers. Recently I tried streaming one game from one computer to another through steam. This opened up the idea to me that it should be possible to transfer save files between computers this way, with out needing to bother each game's dev team to create a server for save files or do complicated transferences of save files (especially if you need to generate them to import/export them). And would be a more streamlined process. (I'm especially thinking of games like Realm revolutions). And for this just streaming doesn't work, as I may want to use the other computer for something else or turn it off. Or maybe I'm updating my desktop save and will be without WiFi to stream over.

Steam offers cloud saves free of charge to all developers. It's up to them to implement it for their games.

You might want to take a look at gamesave manager, I've had it for a while though haven't needed it to move to a new system yet.
https://www.gamesave-manager.com

It saves the game in one place, and can put them back in those same places. And when zipped up its one file to move around with on say a thumb drive or send it via wifi or whatever you do to send things from one system to another now.

+1 for GameSave Manager. Apparently it also has a feature that will automate setting up symbolic links for save files.

In layman’s terms, it helps you set up cloud saving for games that don’t use Steam Cloud by saving them to your own cloud storage - OneDrive, DropBox, etc.
