Gamekit Affiliation Issues

I was told I should post this here so here goes. Your affiliate website Gamekit.com has what I feel is an unfair policy practice by banning users who use open access public wifi and will permanently ban anyone who uses a vpn. They will also accuse them of having mutiple accounts and ask them to terminate the accounts. Even when the accounts belong to total strangers. This happened to me and I have screen shots of the conversation. They have a mobile app but I ask what's the point of it, if you can't use public wifi? Those living in a dorm on a college campus would be banned because it's, "public acces wifi." Also instead of filling an order made for a steam product key prior to the suspension of the account, they will "refund" the purchase and not honor the purchase. The problem with this is there is nothing to truly refund. No money has been exchanged. It's done by points earned. I first tried to deal with their support staff about it and basically got treated like a lying criminal.

So I am suggesting one of two things. Either a termination of Steam's affiliation with them for, as stated, unfair policy practices or a negotiation on changing their no public access wifi policy. Not to mention suggest retraining of their staff for sensitivity towards consumers.

I feel that gamekit's behavior could wrongfully reflect badly on Steam and its other affiliates if this continues. Also their refusal to honor their purchases could also reflect badly on Steam.

No, they are not now nor have they ever been a legit business.

They already scammed you. Why defend them?

This has nothing to do with Steam - you cannot get help from Steam on a site that literally is doing things that Steam FORBIDS.

Just because they have game keys doesn't mean they obtain them through the proper channels.

YOU agreed to use the site. NO ONE ELSE, and certainly no one HERE has any amount of leverage or control over that site.

Take it up with the FBI? lol.

Gamekit is NOT steam. They are not beholden to any of your expectations for Steam.

You got scammed. That's 100% on you for going off-steam to do any amount of trading or buying.

Learn from it, and move on.
