While that is true to an extent, I believe it's fairly obvious that the main variables in your performance would be your hardware.
If there would be a better work around for this idea, it'd be neat to hear. Just trying to figure out a way to make reviews that rail on about bad performance more useful to the prospective buyers of games.
Also OP you're assuming the average user has the sufficient competence in such matters as to sorrelate the given specs to the performance. Again this just seems like someone wanting to filter out reviews that go counter to what they want to do.
If it's forced it will cause outrage among users.
If it's optional it's pointless, you'll only have epeeners doing it.
