Add FLICK STICK to Steam Controller Configuration
Flick stick lets you very quickly turn to face any direction in a game. You can see it in action in CS:GO using JoyShockMapper here:

It's really easy to implement -- I know, because I did it in JoyShockMapper. It takes some calibrating that depends on the game and the user's sensitivity settings, but that's OK. In Steam's controller configuration, all you'd need is a slider (preferably with a visible number people can share) so Steam knows how far to move the virtual mouse to achieve a given angle rotation in-game.

You might also want a smoothing option -- the DualShock 4 analog sticks are pretty low-res, and it can be distracting without some smoothing.

Yes please I've wanted something akin to "mouse region, but for first person games" for a while. Some way to implement a relative mouse motion without a cursor. To implement a turn-around button since most games never implement such functions but it overcomes the limited practical range of motion and sensitivity for gyro and touchpad
im trying to use flickstick with this joyshockmapper but im so confused how i put it to work.
i always make configs with steam controller configurator already, but lacks de flickstick, how i can just pick the flickstick and the rest i config in steam?

All JoyShockMapper needs is the correct calibration settings (REAL_WORLD_CALIBRATION varies per game, and IN_GAME_SENS needs to be set to your in-game sensitivity in whatever game you're playing). Then you just set RIGHT_STICK_MODE = FLICK, and it should work.

What game are you trying to play this with? There are calibration examples on GyroWiki.

There are no smoothing settings at the moment, but I might make it configurable later. There's some smoothing in there automatically (more with the DualShock 4 than with Switch controllers, since its sticks are low resolution).
